welcome once again to exposures'
exclusive exhibition , showcasing the Welsh graduates work. Exposure is the
only gallery in Wales to show such a comprehensive collection of graduate
work under one roof. This year as you will see from the work was an excelleant
show, with a huge variety of work from almost every meduim. Exposure and curartor
Jon Powell have always felt its important to celebrate the wealth of talent
being produced in Wales, and by showing work give them a stepping stone on
their future careers and hope the stay live and work in Wales. We hope to
extend the show next year, providing more exhibition space and tie it in with
Swansea Fringe 06.
This year we had a little money left over so decided to award a prize for the best piece of work.
This years winner was a piece by Robyn Gittins called "The destruction of beauty" a scaled down piece from her degree show which covered a whole room.its meant to symbolize memorial, with implecations of nuclear warfare and martyrdom.
the runner up was Teresa Mills with her fantastic surreal furniture, man chair, dog stool, fire place and teapot child.
